Reiki Q&A
LEVEL1 Class Q&A
Q1: Can I receive attunement online?
A: Unfortunately, we do not offer remote attunements. In Usui Reiki, there is no remote transmission of energy.
Q2: What is the difference between Traditional Japanese Reiki and Western Reiki?
A: Traditional Japanese Reiki originated in Japan during the Taisho era, while Western Reiki spread globally through Hawaii. Currently, 99% of Reiki practitioners practice the Western style.
Q3: Is there a difference in the energy?
A: No, the energy is the same. The difference lies in the approach and purpose.
Q4: Can I use Reiki immediately after the beginner’s course?
A: It’s important to get comfortable through practice. Enjoy the process as you improve!
Q5: What if I don’t feel the energy flowing?
A: Don’t worry! The attunement ensures the energy will flow. With practice, you’ll get the hang of it.
Q6: Who typically attends the beginner’s course?
A: People interested in Reiki or those who want to heal their family and pets often join the course.
Q7: Can I take the beginner and intermediate courses back to back?
A: Yes, it’s possible. Ideally, you should wait 21 days between levels, but if you’re traveling from afar, feel free to discuss it with us.
Level 2 Class Q&A
Q1: Who is the intermediate class suitable for?
A: It’s perfect for those who want to use Reiki on others, learn distant healing, or for estheticians and massage therapists who feel drained after working with clients.
Q2: Can I take the intermediate class right after the beginner class?
A: Yes! While waiting 21 days is ideal, it’s perfectly fine to continue right away if needed.
Q3: I’m not confident in feeling the energy or "Hibiki." Is that okay?
A: No worries! Most people find it difficult to sense energy at first, but you’ll definitely feel it more clearly in the intermediate course. Enjoy the process without rushing!
Q4: What will I learn in the intermediate class?
A: You’ll learn healing techniques for others, energy processing methods, and especially distant healing, which is a key part of the course.
Q5: What makes this association’s approach special?
A: There are three main features:
You’ll learn traditional Japanese self-discipline methods to balance your energy.
We provide patient and detailed guidance through hands-on practice.
After attunement, we offer follow-up support with practice sessions and Zoom seminars.
