We are a non-profit organization established to spread traditional Japanese Reiki. Based in Osaka, Japan, we have branches both domestically and internationally, working to raise awareness of Usui Reiki around the world.

Our mission is to see Reiki practiced in every corner of the world and for each person who experiences it to take pride in their Reiki hands. Let's live better, live happier!

What the Japan Reiki Association Valu

The Japan Reiki Association places great importance on faithfully preserving and practicing Traditional Japanese Reiki, as taught by its founder, Mikao Usui, over 100 years ago. The association is dedicated to passing down pure Reiki techniques without unnecessary modifications or Western influences. The key distinctions are as follows:

• Traditional Japanese Techniques: The association strictly upholds the traditional methods and teachings passed down in Japan, emphasizing the spiritual and holistic aspects of Reiki, beyond just healing.

• Comprehensive Follow-up Support: Unlike other Reiki schools, the NPO Japan Reiki Association offers continuous support after the course, providing online practice sessions and additional guidance to ensure ongoing learning and growth for students.

• Mind, Body, and Spirit Approach: While Reiki is widely known as a healing method, the NPO Japan Reiki Association focuses on incorporating Reiki into daily life to promote inner peace, love, and harmony.

About Yoko Tsuji

Masumi has been a beloved and popular figure among many students even before becoming a Reiki master teacher.

Throughout her time as a student, she diligently returned to Japan from the U.S. (over a span of four years) to attend the seminars

in Tokyo, and she successfully passed the final exam with

outstanding results.

President of NPO Japan Reiki Association

Yoko Tsuji dedicates her love and passion to spreading Traditional Japanese Reiki worldwide. While preserving the teachings of Usui Reiki, she works to help everyone find peace of mind and heart.

Based on the belief that "living authentically is the foundation of happiness," Yoko strives to help people discover their true selves and inner brilliance through Traditional Japanese Reiki, supporting their journey to achieving "Anjin Ritsumei," a peaceful and fulfilled state of mind. She hopes that Reiki will bring more smiles and peace to the world.

Moreover, Yoko believes in the importance of "first making yourself happy" and continues to support everyone in shining their own light.

Together with certified instructors in Japan, master teachers, and all of us in the overseas branches, we are committed to sharing Traditional Japanese Reiki, offering a place where everyone can achieve Anjin Ritsumei.

Hello, I’m MASUMI!

I’m currently preparing to move from Oregon to Alabama, where I’m excited to offer Reiki sessions, classes, and retreats by a beautiful lake.

I first discovered Reiki when a friend in America asked me, “How do you not know about Reiki, being Japanese?” Looking back, I now realize that my encounter with Reiki was meant to be, with many significant moments leading me to it. This prompted me to delve deeper into Traditional Japanese Reiki, and after six years of training, I earned my master instructor certification from the NPO Japan Reiki Association. Now, I run the U.S. branch.

I have a deep love for Traditional Japanese Reiki, and my strong desire to one day share it with many people in America inspired me to pursue this path. I take great pride in spreading this beautiful practice and aim to help others find relaxation, healing, and the joy of living a happier, more fulfilling life through Reiki.

I’m Ashley, and I live in Oregon, USA. With over 10 years of experience as a Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT), I provide healing for both the mind and body.

I was fortunate to earn an advanced certification from the NPO Japan Reiki Association here in America, and I’ve become deeply captivated by Traditional Japanese Reiki.

Currently, I assist in supporting Reiki classes alongside my teacher, MASUMI. Our goal is to spread this wonderful Traditional Japanese Reiki from the Japan Reiki Association to as many people as possible here in the U.S. We’d love for you to join us in our fun and transformative Reiki classes!

Maddy trained under Ms. Satoe from Hong Kong through the NPO Japan Reiki Association and became a certified Reiki instructor. She is currently practicing Reiki in Oregon, USA. Although born in the U.S., Maddy has lived in various countries, including Japan, Vietnam, Hong Kong, and Italy, gaining deep cultural insights through her experiences. She has a warm, charming personality, and her beautiful smile and gentle, radiant energy make her truly captivating.
